About us
Needle and thread patterns are a newly established company who sell sewing patterns for passionate makers, such as yourself.
Our mission is to provide high quality, modern and versatile pattern. They can be adjusted in a variety of ways to fit your unique body shape ad personal style 100%. We give you the foundation, you make it fabulous!
We are rooted in Borås, the textile capitol of Sweden, and founded by Mia Edén, a professional pattern maker with 15 years of experience.
We are about to launch our second pattern, the VERA SHIRT DRESS. And we need your help! We want our patterns to be of the highest quality, therefore we want to test it thoroughly before launching it. And what better way to test that than asking real life makers to use it for real life projects. Now we are hoping that YOU are one of those makers!
Are you what we are looking for?
What we are looking for is someone with an at least intermediate skill set. That means that you have made some sewing projects and are starting to feel confident when making simple items. You are eager to learn how to sew moderately difficult details, such as collars and collar stands, darts, and in-seam pockets.
You are also able to sew the project and give feedback within 3 weeks.
You are able to spend approximately 20 minutes giving feedback to us, in english or swedish.
Your size is between size 32 (bust 76 cm) to size 62 (bust 152 cm).
You do not need to make a decision now on whether you want to be our tester or not. The application is simply an expression of interest and is not binding in any way.
What are you getting?
We give you the opportunity to use a brand new high quality pattern before anybody else is able to.
You will get the pattern, instructional booklet and all support needed from us for free, of course!
You will get the opportunity to influence how this pattern and other patterns in the future are designed. You can have a real impact in designing your dream patterns.
